So Bey -- who is only four months into an active album era -- is a greedy and conniving Britney saboteur for showing up to perform at an award show where she was an 11x nominee? Whew, some of y'all are just willing to part with all logic, common sense and sanity for the sake of hating that girl.
Britney remains unbothered with multiple diamond selling albums.
When will ur fave?
BOOM.
That is great and no one is EVER gonna take that away from Britney. those are legendary feats
But it's 2016 and Britney hasn't been able to maintain her success/fame the way beyoncé could - that doesn't take anything away from her amazing career though. So don't be mad at Bey being able to maintain her status and exceeding her legacy / being more relevant for over a decade now.
BUT, the camera angles were a MESS during Britney's performance but they were timed perfectly when Bey performed so this part I don't get.
Bey was said to be rehearsing for a long time - which is not unusual of her. She probably fixed all the camera plots during rehearsals so they're perfectly timed and angled.

Well, it is known that Bey is perfectionist and she checks her performances from rehearsals too, so she can tweak it whatever way she likes. I imagine she watched the tape and gave feedback on everything.
But Britney has MORE writing credits than Beyonce tho.. Seeing as ALL of this performing, the videos, the promotion is DIRECTLY about MUSIC. Receipts speak for themselves.
DDD... the levels of delusions you're reaching are just
like i said for anyone questioning Britney's Impact on culture and the industry..
The girl in almost the same time span, has 2x DIAMOND selling albums and MULTIPLE Platinum ones.
And Beyonce can BARELY get past 2x Platinum.. Sales of Brits first album totally eclipse ALL of Beyonces discography combined. and here yall are talking of impact?
Seems like im not the only delusional one.
I love how you always go off-topic.
Keep it up, hun.

But why did she feel the need to rehearse so much! No one else was! She's clearly just selfish and obsessed with upstaging everyone.
Stop blaming Beyonce for your faves mediocrity, Beyonce is a class A performer who had shown time and time again she will bring her A game to the stage. In 1995 when R.E.M were to receive their Vanguard award MJ got a 15 minute medley of some of his most popular hits and showed the **** out. In 1990 when Janet received her Vanguard award the talk of the night was Madonna who gave 100% with her 'Vogue' performance that night.
It's not overshadowing, when you are good at something you don't tone it down to let other have their shine. Britney is a woman approaching her mid 30's and is more than capable of being in control of her image and energy, she and Beyonce are peers and have been in the game equally as long.
this is why Beyonce is praised the way she is by the media and GP alike, this is why you guys call her 'over-hyped'. In a generation where most female artist think that it's OK to either lip-sync or sing of key while busting a struggle dance move and selling and awkward sexual performance Beyonce bring you full on classic, high energy, amazing vocal performances. That alone puts her in a league of her own and that's why nearly 20 years into her career shes the biggest and most relevant female artist from her time.
Did you see her performance? Britney can't sustain a live awards show performance for 15 minutes. Especially in the way Beyoncé did. She wasn't horrible, but she was disoriented at times and was clearly nervous. Also, she was slightly off beat in the beginning, she was counting her steps, and obviously missed a couple cues.
That was during a very brief performance. Britney hasn't been the same since her breakdown, and its a great accomplishment that she's gotten to the point where she's able to give performances on live TV. MTV did right.
