It's really sort of bizarre how the fireworks are coming out of everyone's chests.
It really makes sense when you know the songs' background. It says we all have a spark in our insides waiting to glow, and there's something that makes it ignite and finally make it shine like a true Firework.

I do sort of get the idea but seeing fireworks coming out of Katy Perry's boobs (as well as others) just looks weird to me.
Great message, kind of boring video, but I think she should be applauded. I wish the fireworks were more colorful haha but that's just me. As for the fireworks shooting out of her chest and the GaGa comparisons, I am a HUGE gaga stan but I don't think there is anything wrong with it, nor do I see it as copying. The imagery fits perfectly with the lyrics. And it's coming from the heart, not the boobs.
I hate that people are comparing this to Beautiful...both are great songs, but Katy will always lose just based off Beautiful being a ballad and most people lean towards ballads for substance...
but Katy really deserves more sales than she's getting...her album is the best pop album of the year
