You're right KORDEI, Sean has become far too close with them and I don't think he criticises the girls enough. They're definitely in need of bootcamp, instead of working from home they should have attended a dance bootcamp through the duration of their 'break'

My main problem is that he's their close friend outside of the job so he allows some things to slide. I still can't believe the TIHWR choreo The first performance was great but then... He's great but I wouldn't mind if they moved on from him. My girls need to get into one of those boot camps

I mean, I think a girl-group like Fifth Harmony should have really tight choreography, and to me he just doesn't work hard enough for it.
Some of his choreos are kickass. I mean I really love the groove in Worth It and I think BO$$ is really awesome too. Then again, that's pretty much it. Sledgehammer was so lazy, Reflection was okay, TIWWR is tragic.
I think they could even add dance breaks in between songs during their tours, they're a girl-group. Idk... I just hope he's working harder this time around. I want them to look in sync. I'm so eager to see how the choreo will look.

I agree with you. I'm willing to hold out and see how they bring it in this music video and upcoming performances before I judge tho. The transition from BT era 5H to Reflection era 5H was ever so blatant so I hope this will be a similar situation.

The Worth It choreo is probably their best, alongside TIHWR. I'd like to see different formations instead of standing in a line this time round. They better be rehearsing ...the first performance has to be polished.

Excluding Ally, I think they're all good dancers. Normani doesn't really have to work on anything tbh. I think Dinah has to sharpen her steps, sometimes she doesn't mark them enough and it looks a littlle bit messy. Lauren is great too, she just doesn't have a lot of energy most times. Camila has a nice swing and swag to her dancing, I think she's improved the most (out of the bad dancers). She also needs to mark her steps better.
Idk, Ally is a bit of a problem when it comes to dancing I think. The other day I came across this video about "her best dancing moments" and I just I seriously love my little sunshine so much, but they need to do something about her dancing. It kinds throws off the whole vibe sometimes.

Do you really like TIHWR? Oh gawd, I hate that performance. "Worth It" is amazing and the first bit of BO$$ is also great, it's just weak after that part.
Reflection is cute but not challenging at all. I like the last part in Body Rock and I think Suga Mama is cute too. The rest can go tbh.

BIB: I made this point earlier Camila has definitely nailed the Worth It choreo...it's just the breakdown that's messy. Normani is exceptionally gifted. The issue with Dinah is she doesn't give enough energy, at times...even Ally be hitting it harder.. Lauren is definitely the second best dancer, but she never really had a massive issue with it.

Yeah, sometimes Dinah's energy is off. And then sometimes she's over-energetic and can't quite master the steps and it looks a bit messy. When Lauren is energetic, she ****ing slays me But idk, I notice most of the times she's not.

Kinda suprised no one has slipped who the feature is, maybe that's actually the second single and WFH has no feature?

I don't have great expectations, though. Sean sucks.

Hmm well this is a first single so lets hope he's bringing his A game and the girls as well

Yes, to be honest I think 3 of them(Dinah, Lauren and Camila)have come leaps and bounds in terms of rhythm and actually staying on beat. Mani has always been excellent. The one girl I'm most worried about is Ally, the good sis just can't seem to grasp rhythm, but it's not her fault. Some people can never get it.
|
Yeah Ally really just has no rhythm at all I remember the Dancing with the stars performance and how she looks so hmmm confused during her solo

This would be so ideal But I think a feature is pretty much confirmed for the first single.

I agree with almost everything. Ally is quite bad indeed She is so mechanical and so not natural. I love how Camila has improved so much as she is one of the best! Obviously Normani slays.
BTW, Stargate?

I was actually looking through the MMO thread a few days ago and it was so quiet It's awesome that there are a lot more of us now. These discussions are so much more exciting
Anyways, has there been any actual confirmation that the single was produced by Stargate? Because all I saw was one person post it and then a bunch of people just react
