Rihanna doesn't need Lean On and Mo did great on it so I'm glad she passed on it.

And she didn't need WCS nor C&GI either. Maybe years ago that would have been fine but I like the direction she's going in and wouldn't have cared if she recorded those tracks.

I hope she continues on being picky and pushing for songs that inspire her cause so far she hasn't failed me yet.

Timber was a completely different song before Ke$ha jumped on board. Ke$ha and her Mom re-wrote the entire chorus and hook.

Which is one of the reasons Ke$ha was on the track even though she was hating Luke at the time publicly. Because Luke gave in to what K$ had done with the track.

I'm no Rihanna stan but I'm glad she turned it down - her current stuff has at least been interesting, even if it hasn't always been good or successful.

As for lean on, it's cute but a bit too generic and a definite step down from both ML and MØ's previous works. But it's good to see them both getting success.
