LOL Wikipedia as your source...
So you searched wikipedia and the tea you got proved influence Janet had over Britney which is obvious but not Britney just taking...
Sure Javan, I agree Janet influenced britney I accepted that the first few times Britney mentioned it which is why this thread shouldn't exist.

Solve for X.

Easy, precisely what I said in my first two responses to you and as others said in the following posts...to deny britney's impact is so sad and subjective and if Britney hadn't existed many things in pop culture and pop music would be altered as I've listed a few examples...please receive.

Had Brit and Max Martin not happened, Pink wouldn't have #1s.
Kelly clarckson would've never made it passed wining AI had it not been for Max e.i. Britney's impact.
Pretty much today's musical landscape and Hilary Duff.
You really wanna go there?
EDIT: how could I forget Gaga!??!

Now I don't like how people are downplaying Janet's contribution but it also is not fair for people to discredit Britney's contributions to pop music. So many artists at the time had the opportunity to outdo her and didn't which is why her brand of pop music is evident in many female artists today and they have no problem acknowledging this
Yet ATRL seems to have trouble understanding this
