I agree! Hype isn't inherently bad, but let's not act like Bey was on some desperate "trend #Beyoncé and I'll leak a snippet from the album!!," VMA controversy, doing the same old promotional circuit through every show and radio outlet that would allow her-type of mess to sell the record. Word of mouth is a powerful thing.
The fact is, the record is selling well because knows she delivers with her music and performances. And with Beyoncé, she
delivered.
