I did watch the video and no, they did not mention her name. They made general statements about stuff without any specifics. And with the way that T-Boz is staunchly defending their comments without trying to explain that the comments were taken out of context, I'm now pretty sure Rihanna is who they were alluding to.

This reminds me of when Kelly Clarkson called Miley a #pitchystripper but she didn't say her name and yet we knew who she was talking about. It's kind of like the same thing here, you don't have to outright say the persons name for people to know who you're talking about

But...they never said Rihanna's name. The interviewer ASSUMED that's who they must have been talking about based off of general statements that they made about not needing to see artists naked all the time, which like I said, says less about T-Boz and Chili

If you noticed TLC nor the interviewer mentioned Rihanna's name during the actual interview, her name was mentioned outside of the actual taping of the interview

Singing some songs about sex =/= having a sexual image.
TLC was the complete opposite of a sexual image. I don't think they were referring to sexuality itself but more so how you present yourself to people.

No the interviewer didn't make an assumption they very clearly stated that TLC singled out Rihanna in their criticism. As an interviewer your job is to ask questions and report wat was said in response. So if they were blatantly lying that calls into question their integrity as news outlet.

Chili and T-Boz need to stop. They were controversial for their time as well. They had sexually suggestive lyrics and were banned in several countries. Because they didn't say her name, they probably were not even thinking about her and being that Beyonce ALWAYS keeps them in their broke ass feelings, they were more than likely referring to her.

They could have been talking about anyone but I guess. This is like when the Navy assume any subliminal tweet or lyric about "hos" is a shot at Rihanna. What does that say about Rihanna
