Britney Spears
Dreadful all around. I'm not sure if anyone has made an art form of settling for mediocrity like Britney has. She can't even dance any more, which was what people say made up for the lack of singing. She has no redeeming qualities when performing live, I'm sure the only reason people show up at her Vegas residency is out of morbid curiosity.
Janet Jackson
Grotesque singing voice, mimed 90% of her shows. In fact, most of her tours followed the EXACT SAME TEMPLATE which lead to much mockery. Not as charismatic or interesting as Michael (who was also **** live).
Lady Gaga
I wish she would try and stop dancing, she is the worst dancer out of anybodies fave. At least Katy knows her limits and doesn't pretend to be a jack of all trades, watching Lady Gaga dance is like watching a Downs Syndrome couple making out - my retinas want to abort themselves but they can't look away. Born This Way Ball was sloppy, when she wasn't dancing badly she was just kind of standing around trying to mime.
Rihanna
The McDonalds of the industry. Not enough PR in the world could save Rihanna from being a void of talent. She is a Hellmouth of bad taste.
I like her songs but I gotta say Katy... I mean, with all her number one singles and all, she still hasn't done an iconic performance... What will we remember of her ? Yeah, the songs but even if they are great to listen to, they are generic for the most of them...
Every A-list pop star has to take a risk, musically speaking, or push pop music's limits into the mainstream, in a way or another. And Katy still, hasn't do it, she plays it too safe, she's too IN control...
