And Katy will not make an album like OOTB again, I don't think. The top 40 on OOTB was added when she got signed to Capitol, where they introduced her to Dr. Luke. Teenage Dream was crafted to make her a star, and I don't see wanting to get any smaller. This album is probably full of hits.

No, I wasn't saying the song was generic. I was saying the snippet sounded rather generic. Obviously I need to wait to hear the whole song, but she was the one who put it out there, so she can't expect people not to comment.
And I really wasn't saying anything about the album as a whole besides saying that I won't be judging it as a whole based on the lead single.
Also, I'm curious which songs got added to OOTB. Was Waking Up in Vegas and If You Can Afford Me written before she got signed? Those are my two favorite songs from the album
