WHY It Didn't Make It: Great song, by a great band. But when it was released, there was so much competition.

11: Brandy, Wildest Dreams



WHY It Didn't Make It: I was torn if I should have added this in the Top 50. It's a MAJOR improvement over Put It Down, but there is something still lacking for it to make it in the Top 50. But it needed some kind of recognition.

10: Kris Allen, The Vision of Love



WHY It Didn't Make It: Again, another case of being released at the wrong time. It actually the first Kris Allen single that I REALLY like.

09: Wynter Gordon, Stimela



WHY It Didn't Make It: Never really been a fan of Wynter, but her EP made me like her, and then we got this song & video. The video TOTALLY makes the song. It didnt fit my Top 50.

08: Marina & the Diamonds, How To Be a Heartbreaker



WHY It Didn't Make It: None of her releases this era have been tp great (aside from Radioactive), but this song is addicting and the video was great as well. Again though, there was too much competion when it got released, and got lost in the shuffle.

07: Kimbra, Settle Down



WHY It Didn't Make It: After fighting it for SO LONG i FINALLY got into this song. The video is REALLY great, and i love the uniqueness of the song. But it was too late to make me really love the song...

Yea, the underwhelming songs just really annoyed me this year...and I've never been a fan of Cheryl (even during Girls Aloud) but I thought she would at least put out something more special than Call My Name Ive only liked 3 of her singles (Parachute, Promise This & 3 Words)
