She said she was keeping quiet so her label thinks she's dead. She's been working on a lot of new music, but not releasing it for the fact that if she gets a hit, her label would become interested again, and fight harder to keep her, and keep pushing her back and back.

Basically now that she's free, she can release all the music whenever she wants because she doesn't have a label to worry about.

Incorrect. Without a label it just means that she cannot get radio support, and the only support she will get is from her minimal (not existent almost) 'fanbase'. She had her chance and she blew it.
