I feel like they are promoting this similar to how they promoted the Saw movies ... dark, racy, intense.

i like it -- i definitely think two songs will be promoting tihs album before it releases though. there's no way this is going to be the main contributor to the sales of this album. another song will leak soon (i hope).

i dont know why def jam put it the 23rd. that is why i say people should put out at least two singles before album release date.

Yeh definitely, it would be different it if was too close to winter. With it being in the middle of fall the song fits nicely. Maybe I was wrong by saying that this is better off as a second single, it is a huge grower.

At first I was expecting a "club banger" too, but this is a hot midempo nonetheless. I love the deep dark undertones, the boombing base/thumps, and Rihanna's slick vocals carrying through well.

Wow. We are shocked and saddened at what a dud RiRi's new song is!

We LOVE Rihanna, but we are very disappointed. Sure, she didn't write or produce the song. That blame goes to NeYo.

But RiRi did approve of this and (along with her label) chose it as her first single.

What was she thinking?????????

Russian Roulette sounds like a song Beyonce would have passed on because it's not good enough. This would have been a B-side on Rihanna's last album!

It's not a bad song, but it's definitely mediocre. And it's definitely not a first single on one of the most anticipated songs of the year!

The song and production are both seriously lacking!
