yay. Go for it. You can achieve anything once you set your mind to it.
Tomorrow's Friday and I have this Friday ritual where I run at least 10 miles. It's one of my highlights of the week. I can't wait.
10 miles
Wow, that's amazing. Maybe I can work my way up there this summer. I'm starting with 2-2.5 miles right now, and plan on slowly working my way up (or just increasing my running speed) so I can keep losing weight. I'm thinking if I just run 2 miles all the time, it will help, but my body might get used to it?

Yup, it will. I would call that a plateau. I hate them with a passion. Just switch up your workouts and you should be fine. Try using the elliptical every once in a while, if you have access to one. Go biking, swimming, rowing, hiking. Switch it up, it's so much funner.
Well I ran two miles tonight. I'm glad I am disciplining myself to keep up with the exercise. I work the next two days, so I'll probably run again on Sunday, meaning that I will have ran four days this week.
Yesss. My crush runs marathons, and on Tuesday I was at his house and he lifted his shirt up and **** his washboard was giving so much life. Once my finals are over I'll be back on the track.
God, women if anything, have it harder when it comes to building muscle. We don't have testosterone, which helps men bulk up. Unless a woman has the genetic makeup, takes a shitload of supplements, then it is impossible to be a bodybuilder. It is said that the genes for that type of body sculpting is sort of a phenomenon, meaning most of us gals don't have it.
My primary exercise regime consists of muscle building. I don't want to be a body builder, but I have this fascination with being strong, stronger than average women are. Lifting weights and such gives me the feeling of satisfaction, knowing I can endure the stress. I gained some impressive muscle in the arms and legs, but still have a lot of fat in my trunk area. *sigh* if only I wouldn't eat on the run (when you have 30 min lunch breaks, you literally eat on the run).
I don't know if I enjoy weight training with other men in the room. On one hand, they set the bar for me. I see some juicer lifting 50 lbs in each hand and it forces me to push to get 15 reps with 15lbs in each hand (dumbbells) while I mentally think "LIFT, YOU PATHETIC WOMAN." One of the trainers there DID say she doesn't see many women lifting beyond 5lbs there (hahaha) and that I was actually doing good so far. On the other, I feel like the men see me as a piddly little wanna-be and it sometimes seems like they silently laugh at my feeble attempts to lift a lot.
I also want to work with the bar (the one with weights at each end), but I never have anyone to spot me. >.<
I've NEVER seen a female lift those 40lb dumbbells in each hand O_O.
Most of them are with the treadmills and elliptical.
Delita you must be built like a truck Have you tried boxing? A mix of endurance and strength training. You seem like the type of woman with enough grunt to pack some serious punch.

Me? Built like a truck? Naw. I have fat to lose. And the sad part is that my age makes it harder to lose overall fat. *sigh*
I want to try some of the kick boxing and other stuff at the gym, but the membership is $25 a month. The problem is that next week I will use the gym, but the following week, I'll be out on vacation. I'll be gone until the last day of July. I won't pay $25 for one week of usage.
This week was horrible. I have had 2 1/2 hour intensive dance for a concert this weekend. Tomorrow begins a 3-day workshop that will virtually have my ass prisoner from 8am till 10. *sniff*

Today I swam for about an hour and did 30 push-ups before bed. Not much, but a start I suppose.
I eat meat most of the time because I don't like fish, I go to Macdonald's every week altho it used to be pratically almost every day when it opened near my house 3 months ago . I eat normal stuff but in high amounts, I eat way too much but I don't have any fat . I go to the gym 3/4 days a week and after doing bodybuilding I always go swim in the pool afterwards. When I went there the 1st time I had to do an evaluation of body fat/muscle and some other things and the tuctor did say I had luck because I gain muscle very easily.
I went from 57kg to 71kg. I was really skinny
I'm having some acne problems (nothing serious) and I need some tips. I went to the dermatologist some months ago but what she prescribed me isn't working at all. Is there any reliable solution?
Today I go for my 10 mile run. Hopefully I can do it under 90 minutes.
What I had to eat today - Breakfast: Oatmeal with blueberries, side of fruit (watermelon, orange, banana, pineapple, one strawberry), with a large glass of apple juice.
Lunch - tuna sandwich with baked Lays potato chips and some cucumbers. I drank a large glass of water.

Well done. You must have the same body type as my brother. He builds muscle REALLY easily. I envy you two.
