Even then, I wouldn't be surprised if her first single shows similarities to "Tik Tok" or previous singles. If there's a fault I'll admit about her, she is playing it safe. I honestly won't be surprised if it takes a flop second single to make her send out a 'different' third single. I think then, plus how her album sells, is a fair time to judge the future of her career.
But let's get into this conversation in the Animal/Cannibal thread, shall we? That place needs to start popping.

Ke$ha will need a major vocal & image change in order to find a broader fanbase. But even with that, I do not think she will be the next Rihanna. The popstars who appeal to broad demographics today are GaGa, Rihanna & Bey. GaGa is able to do so because she has the ability to appeal to all ages, all races, all genders, etc. GaGa only makes dance/pop music, but she has been able to find broadness anyway, because her dance/pop music is more mature (catering to adults & teens) & has more variety than Ke$ha's. Rihanna appeals to a wide demographic of music fans because of the diversity of music genres she can put into one album, Bey also uses a variety of genres in her music & she very easily appeals to both teens and adults. Even Rihanna garners adult interest. Right now, Ke$ha's fanbase mostly consists of teenagers (majority girls), & party-hard college kids (most likely majority girls). Ke$ha's image & music is a huge turn-off to adults, & that has probably seriously hurt her career in the long run.
