i think you're born with a genuine attraction to everyone, but it's your choice to determine what attraction is classified what to you. that's the whole thing where homosexuality versus heterosexuality and incest versus non-familial love comes in. it's your choice whether you choose to see a family member as on the same level of attraction as you'd see someone outside your immediate family just as much as it's your choice whether to see someone of the same gender on the same level of attraction as someone of the opposite. you're attracted to everyone but you make the conscious decision to set limits on where the acting on those attractions ends.

Why go through with something that gives you such a hard time? I didn't want to feel unnatural, depressed, etc. If it was a choice I would be straight.
I think I was since I remember my first erection was when I saw a boy and that was when I was very very young so I doubt environment or any other factors influenced my sexuality. Sometimes I do think that can be possible though for other people

I used to say he was my best friend and stuff and I'd do ANYTHING to just touch him! I felt this way about him until 5th grade.. can you believe it? almost 5 years feeling butterflies. I was kind of a loner too so I didn't know too much. Then I changed to a Roman Catholic school, and then I reinforced these feelings seeing the vast majority of the students were.. male

You're not alone sis. Around that age, I had the biggest crush on this cute Filipino boy who was a year older than me and I remember being so thirsty for him. I even got to rub his legs a few times, but he eventually moved.
