According to you, John Legend is more talented so thats why he won. Well you should've just said that in the first place. So Grammys are awarded based on talent! Okay, now we're getting somewhere!

There are plenty of people who think Ciara is more talented than John. I mean, just ask the millions of more people who brought Ciara's album over John's. It all comes down to perspectives. Just because you think John is more talented than Ciara, doesn't make the latter not "grammyish."

err no....Ciara's fans don't necessarily think Ciara is more talented than John Legend, in fact am sure they would OUTRIGHTLY disagree. But they enjoy her music more than his. She makes very mainstream commercial music so the expected outcome is increased sales. Addressing the issue of talent - her grammys performance said it all...she can't deliver when on the spot. Ciara can dance and all, but she has as much talent as the toilet paper i use to wipe my black arse ...............John Legend is a far more worthy winner than him, sorry her, whatever Ciara is.

I really enjoyed watching the show last night, it was entertaining.

My Favorite Performances:
1.) u2 and Mary J Blige - Home run.
2.) Herbie and XTina Aguilera. - Just beautiful, this was the first time I heard their song. I really like the sound with the Piano going in hand with the artist's vocals.
3.) Jay-Z, Linkin Park, and suprise, suprise; Paul McCartney. - Numb/ Encore has been one of my favorite tracks from 2005. I was stunned to see Paul come in half way through.
4.) Kanye West and Jamie Foxx - Entertaining, Gold Digger is another one of my favorite tracks from 05'. Kanye was a respecting boy last night, so I'll give him kudos. But, I think he and Jamie could've used some more originality and did something else besides the "Drumline-like" act.
5.) John Legend - Just an average performence, nothing special or to remember it by, but I enjoyed it. He also won the well-deserved Best New Artist Grammy.
6.) Mariah Carey (Minus some of "We Belong Together") - Her vocals were shakey in We Belong Together, but she brought it with "Fly Like a Bird." - (Even though she looked like if she was having a seizure while singing the high notes.) Good Overall.
7.) Kelly Clarkson - I was floored to see her walk away with both Grammies. I was psyched to see that, and I'm proud to see she got them. As far as her performence, it was allright. I do believe she was feeling overwhelmed by her setting, but she managed to sound great. (Even though she was having problems controlling her breathing. - You could hear that everytime she took a breath in. - That's the only thing I found annoying about her performance.)

The Performances I hated:
1.) Gorillaz - They were uneeded. I like "Feel Good Inc," but the animation was off from the sound, which was awkward. I didn't like it, luckily they were saved by Madonna's performance. - (Which was good, but I hate seeing her 48 year old booty in a TIGHT PURPLE LEOTARD! )
2.) Sly and the Family Stone Tribute - Ummm... Bad... Everything was awkward from Joss Stone to Ciara to Fantasia to Will.i.am to even Adam Lavine. Not good. Everything just seemed out of place, and I felt there were too many artists on that stage.
3.) Bonnie Riatt - I think that's her name and a few others - Sentimental, but forgetful. I didn't care for it. If the Grammy producers were looking for something to commemorate the people affected by the hurricanes, and leave a good impression they needed to have all the artists from "Come Together." - (Which Included some bigger and contemporary named artists.) But the only down side to this would be the fact of who's availible.

Green Day's BOBD win - I was giving a standing ovation. Perfect, I'm glad to see them take that. They also did a good job last year with their performence.

U2 (Both wins) - How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb and Sometimes you can't make it on your own - Well picked. I now have another reason to get that CD! - Which hopefully is in my BMG CD Music Club by now! U2 is a good band.
I'm glad to see they picked them over the others, even though I pictured Mariah taking the awards home.

My review of the performances: RUBBISH: Mary & U2 (I love Mary but she sounded like she was tryin to have an orgasm); Ciara (hot mess, thank God for Adam Levine who covered up her froggy vocals); Coldplay (that ******** runnin round the stage thing only looks good at the Brits); OK - AWESOME Kanye (Much as I hate his arrogance and personality, I have to admit that this was one of the highlights in a lacklustre grammys and thats not sayin much); U2 (Vertigo is an easy song on the ears no matter how chanty, so its a crowd pleaser); Sly Stone tribute ( I thought this was good overall, esp with Fantasia tearin it up); Mariah (she did FLAB justice)

I am so happy for Kelly! She is truly amazing. I could not have been more excited when i heard her name announced for both grammies. Her acceptance speeches were adorable especially the first one. You know that it really meant a lot to her and she seemed sincerely surprised (unlike certain people who have large THANK YOU LISTS written out). Her performance in my opinion was the best of the night. Take that all you people who said she couldnt sing because of one vma performance that wasnt stellar. And to top it all off, she looked gorgeous. Congratulations!!!!

For those who think U2 don't deserve their awards , then you are totally WRONG! Go & buy the album ,bitches!

-Well, It's obvious that grammy hates Mariah , Everyone was expecting her to win at least HALF of her nods , they didn't even let her do her speech. *rolls eyes*

-I REALLY didn't expect kelly to win a grammy ,but she got TWO!! She deserves them with no doubt.

-BOBD winning Record Of The Year,Hell yeah!! One of the best songs by green day and of last year , I'm really mad at you brian ,because that song is GREAT.

-I liked the Madge/Gorillaz performance at the begining ,but then "Hung Up" was nothing special ,because we've already seen that performance in many shows. She should've performed "Sorry".

-I'm sick of people here overrating Kelly's performance ,It was normal .Seriously! Go watch her BOY performance @ Oprah ,That was a better performance.She didn't add anything to this performance.

- Mariah!! OMG! Stop using your damn hand and 10 fingers to show every note in the song, that really annoys me , she seems struggling .
Anyway, WBT was good ,but Fly Like A Bird was awesome ,a lil bit messed up.


-Mary J. & bono performance was flawless . I LOVED this song since the first listen and now they are performing it . HOLY ****.


-The best performance was the Jay/Paul/LP , That performance was a grammy moment and I loved every second in that WOW performance.

I think that if Gwen Stefani released a single that just had her taking a crap she would have a hit. And the video would be hailed as innovative for it's unique on the commode stylings. That woman gets way more props than she needs.
