I love socialism, France whole system is rooted in socialism and we don't have to worry about our health insurance since a very long time already.

Crony capitalism is a mutation on capitalism. It is where the free market and mechanics of capitalism are overrun by the most elite ("the 1%"). These people work to ensure that the wealth they acquire never trickles down, that the wealth remains isolated to certain demographics. Crony capitalisms ensure that only the wealthy can remain wealthy.
Crony capitalists hate things like taxes on the rich, estate taxes, etc. They hate regulations that stop them from amassing too much wealth or which are meant to make sure their businesses are acting ethically. There could be a distinction made between capitalism vs crony capitalism, but many believe that all capitalism in how it works currently in the US is crony capitalism.
Crony capitalism comes not only in the procuring of wealth for the elite (no taxes on the rich, deregulation of banks and businesses), but also in protecting the wealth for just the elite to have (getting rid of the minimum wage, destroying healthcare for all, making education harder to get to destroy upward mobility, destroying unions meant to protect the worker and make sure they are treated ethically). It also veers into how classism and racism intersect in how crony capitalism promotes the use of gentrification for its means.
To support crony capitalism is to support the unethical treatment of the worker and the exploiting of the worker for profit, to support letting poor people die and be crushed by the weight of poverty, and to support the allocation of most wealth in the world for a very isolated group of people.
Crony capitalism is one face of Trump and the present Republican party. The other face is white supremacy.

I see plenty of people in this thread supporting violence, and none of them appear to be alt-right.
Could be wrong though.

Wait, now I'm labeled Anti BLM. This is news to me...
Wow...oh wow.
Well at least I'm not labeled racist. I guess that's a silver lining.
It's easy to hurl generalize but not evidenced insults.
Were the four charged BLM protesters who just got a little carried away?

Well, first of all many of them will have a position where their opinions on these issues doesn't matter. A National Security Advisor being against gay marriage is completely irrelevant. Just because they have said opinion doesn't mean they can't do a good job in something not even related to it.
Second of all, having an opinion and having the desire to force it on an entire country is an entirely different thing. In fact, on a lot of issues they just want to allow the states to decide.
Third of all, even if they wanted to I don't think Trump will allow them to just get on with it. For instance he's already said he will maintain gay marriage (and hopefully he sticks by his word on this issue).

Wow please dont fight for anything when people are attacked by your vote. Just lock yourself in your house and take the L like a brave person.
The impact of hatred preached and that its all good to support hate mongers, will affect generations for decades to come, will legitimize some young bigots growing up to follow in Trumps footsteps and do worse, equally for the next 4 years, people should be clocking your ass, every-time minorities are targeted by the all GOP government.

You are anti-BLM. I didn't just join ATRL yesterday. You've always been against the movement.
So I ask again, how exactly is superpredator a racist term if the justice system doesn't target black people? As far as I'm aware, she never mentioned skin color in her speech so...

It never lasts but it happens after every presidential election, for some reason.

Trump being an ass of a bigot & saying vile things to gain further support, is why it turned out the way they did. Maybe if he was a decent human, people wouldn't be in an uproar over his win.
This is NOT about Hilary losing, this is about a racist, misogynistic, xenophobic winning.
|
Excuses and perception and deflection.
Nope. People would be in an uproar if their choice wasn't selected and "decent human" Once again this can be used for both candidates.
This IS about Hillary losing an election that the media fooled the public in believing would be in a landslide and the shock and upset at it happening. Instead of accepting the loss and/or calling out the media for it's lack of credibility and bamboozling techniques people have decided to take it out on Trump and his supporters. as if he was a favorite to win. Hillary messed herself up.
and then the protesting elevating to rioting elevating to violence hence this situation where 4 are charged for beating a trump supporter.
Accept it and deal.
Thanks for playing.

There's little difference between both in the US, so when an American discusses the flaws of capitalism in the US, how about listening and learning more than debating? Thanks.
