I mean Britney releases a song yes! But I never heard work bitch. Bc her career isn't there with her anymore
As for rihanna even if it's an underrated song everyone will be all on that because she's rihanna!
Sorry if this doesn't make sense it's really hard on my iPhone.

Sis, this thread is about the overall career, not who is currently more successful. Of course Rihanna is more successful; she's only 9 years in to her career, still promotes actively (relative to Britney), etc. Britney spent way more time on the charts than Madonna did in 2013, but that doesn't make her a bigger legend than Madonna.

So true.
One thing though, has Rihanna really sold that many records? Britney has sold over 185M and that's without mastertones

It depends on how you inflate her sales.
I figured using the highest figures couldn't hurt because then they still leave a huge margin.

Dragging would imply that you actually said something negative about Britney. Nothing you said was either negative or positive towards Britney because none of it was even factual.

Sis, TEAs have been used to compare album sales in the digital era to album sales in the pre-digital era since before your fave had a career
It's been endorsed by Billboard (the official chart of the U.S.) and IFPI (the recording institute that releases WW numbers). They're official and a valid way to compare success. Basically, 10 digital tracks = 1 album sold.
Everything written is based in statistical fact. If that's what makes you cringe, then I'm glad that mess of text you wrote didn't use a single fact.

Well Britney is the same fame as her.
Ignore the sales. They are competely different style of music.
Oh wait HTNGU slayed.
Britney slayed #1 songs once ago and so did queen A.
Point it Rihanna should be voted not Britney. Bc she's slayyying those #1s with every single
I'm out.. But we all know rihanna >>> Britney

Avril was never as popular as Britney
Stop trying to attach your fave to mine to make her look more successful.
Rihanna is currently more successful, yes, but Britney's OVERALL success is much higher and it's statistical fact. Let it go.

Rihanna by FAR. Better songs, better videos, more maturity/diversity, greater longevity, live vocal performances. No comparison.

The bolded is the only thing that has to do with having a bigger career, so that's all that I'll respond to in my post.
...BOMT was a huge sales hit in 1998. "Scream & Shout" sold over 6M copies WW and didn't leave the chart till 2013. That's 15 years.
Rihanna debuted in 2005 and it's only 2014. That's 9 years.
Britney Spears has had a successful career longer than Rihanna has HAD a career
