They posted their information on the internet, an incredibly popular social site at that. There is no confidentiality or anything of the sort when it comes to the internet. Once you put something online it becomes EVERYONE'S business.

I always hear how racist and cruel the South is and yet even living here for the majority of my life I've never been discriminated against because of my sexuality or racial background.

It does. Even within Texas there are various levels of racism - the East being the most notoriously racist.

It's not so much racist where I live (the majority here is technically a minority), but it's definitely homophobic.

I'm not gay but I'm grateful to have people like sahn and Drais around
