The important part in that sentence is "in the near future". That could be 3 days, 5 days, the full week, whatever.

Imo, as a black woman, soul doesn't belong to any race. And I don't see Beyonce or Rihanna singing soul, so why shouldn't Adele? There was a spot in the market and she grbbed it and owned it.
