For those of you saying MJ's voice was mediocre or not even close to Beyonce's, his voice slayed up through his Bad era. His vocal peak was probably Thriller. His voice as part of the Jackson Five was flawless as a child, and his live performances during Off The Wall, Thriller, and Bad were all on point, not too mention his dancing from that time was and remains unrivaled. Beyonce is a great performer, one of the best today and throughout the decade, but Michael in his heyday was pretty untouchable.
You know the only reason Beyoncé is seen as this 'amazing' or 'incredible' performer is because she gives a 110% and she has a lot of energy. I don't know what that girl drinks but she comes out with SO much energy that it's just infectious and almost unmatchable.
That being said, what made Michael Jackson amazing as a performer was his dance and his ability to interpret music into movement.
Can Beyoncé dance like Michael? No.
Can Beyoncé dance? Yes, but not like the other female dancers who are miles better - Janet, Ciara etc.
So who really comes close to Michael. Not Beyoncé and her booty, but Janet and her technical choreography which (in my opinion) Beyoncé could never do.
Janet doesn't have the spontaneity to bust out a move like Beyoncé or Michael (she probably can, she's just too shy), but she is the closest dancing-singer to Michael.
Maybe when Beyoncé learns to do a breakdown or do something with her feet, she can take over Janet.

Performing isn't just about dancing. Could Michael pull this off?
Answer is no. This is one component of performing that Beyonce beats Michael at. Pure vocal excellence. I'm not saying Bey is better. I'm just saying that looking past Michaels BLOATED legacy as a performer, Beyonce is practically on par.
Dont tell me that MJ fans are not delusional neither ...
