I don't think it sounds any less like No Doubt than Rock Steady did. Actually sounds more so like them than that album did.
I agree. The production is on point and totally No Doubt, only the lyrics are more mature while I was expecting them to bring some of the crazy from Hellagood or Hey Baby. I'm listening non stop and loving the album more and more. Can't wait for the whole thing.
Ok I'm liking the sound of lots of these. Actually wish it would have come out earlier in the year, sounds like a great album for a summer road trip.

But the timing is also good, but it has a very nostalgic feel to it. Perfect for just when summer ends as well, and it will be a jam as soon as next summer starts.
It's very mellow which wasn't what I was expecting, but RoS is my favorite No Doubt album so it's not a problem. Wish there were a few more uptempo records though, but I feel it's a grower.
