People who manipulate other political theories like identity politics or theories about the liberation of minorities (that CALL for the very deconstruction and removal of neoliberal fiscal policies because they're harmful)
for material gain in tandem with neoliberal fiscal policies are still neoliberals.
If all your "woke" pontification never, ever touches on the evils of neoliberal fiscal policy, you're* just as complacent to it as the people pushing these policies through.
When was the last time you heard Matt McGorry call out how the evils of deregulation, the marketization of public services, and free-market capitalism disproportionately impact people of color?
The type of people to call themselves "woke" usually only offer a very superficial, surface-level of rhetoric on the issues they discuss, never ever tackling the meat of the issue because they benefit from the systems hurting people. These are the type of people to suggest entrepreneurs and free-market capitalism are "the answer to ending racism!!!" (
).

you specifically obviously.
