There are 7 billion people in the world, roughly 3.5 billion men and 3.5 billion women, I'm pretty sure we can find at least one out of 3,5 billion who doesn't care if we shave our legs or not
The sexism in this thread. All these ghays screaming eeww, how is it "eeew" when most men and you have hairy legs too!!?
Im a girl, and yes i rather have my legs shaved, and i do think shaved legs looks better, but i respect their choices, and if they want too look like that, then great for them.
Well if you don't try to make yourself 'conventionally attractive' then it will be harder to find a partner, it ain't science. You don't NEED to do it but you have to make concessions to achieve certain things in life. If you don't want to then don't. I don't control you.
that's the spirit, fight ignorance with ignorance!
Nice. I'm a female and I personally haven't shaved anywhere for a year now I think. I love that I don't have to be constantly worried about it. I love it even more that I don't have to go through the pain anymore. And I love that I don't have to plan my clothes with that in mind.
Basically the only thing I had to start doing was only buying tops with sleeves long enough to cover the hairs. I started wearing a lot of pants and very long skirts. I can use short skirts but only do it in winter and wear leggings too which not only warm the legs in the winter, but hide the hairs as well.
This year for the first time I had the courage to go to the beach without shaving. I wore shorts so it wouldnt be too shocking. But I had no problem showing the armpit and leg hair. I went with my boyfriends family that thinks women should shave or they wouldnt look like women. Luckily they didnt say anything to me and I didnt even care if someone else looked.
I think its so sad that I have to live in fear of showing myself to the public. It took me 3 years to have the courage to go to a public beach without shaving. I'm hoping my confidence will build over the years and I wont be worried about hiding the hairs in the future...
Do you sis.
I remember when I was 7 years old I begged my mom to let me start shaving because society made me feel like I was disgusting because I had leg hair. 7 years old.

it's actually so sad how girls are conditioned to think from such a young age.
no you won't, people who aren't conventionally attractive get bfs/gfs all the time
With people who generally aren't concentionally attractive. You get what you put in I guess. If you want to get a conventionally attractive person then you will probably have to make a concession and attempt to look like that. It's a sad truth of society.

What are you not getting? Life shouldn't be about getting a partner. Life should be about being happy with yourself. Don't quote me again unless you're going to say something worth my time. I am not going to argue with a 14 year old Margaret Thatcher worshiper. Not today, boo!
are you kidding me??? so just to please a man a woman should go out of her way to change herself in a way that she doesn't want to??? do you realize how damaging that kind of standard is?? like just think:
1. "being fat is gross because boys don't like it"
2. girl feels ugly and undesireable
3. tries to change herself
4. can't lose the weight
5. gets eating disorder desperately trying to lose it
or
1. girl has passion for makeup artistry
2. "boys don't like too much makeup, you look stupid, you'll never get a boyfriend"
3. girl drops something she's passionate about
do i need to go on?
do you know how much it hurts to be insecure about your body and think no one will want you??? i do and i can certainly tell you don't with how insensitive you're being. if you perpuate the idea that having a boyfriend is the most important thing for a girl to ever have all girls will ever think is important is to make guys like them, which some girls already do. they'll try to change themselves and become more and more depressed over it. it's happened tons of times. have you ever seen girls cry, feeling totally ugly, just because guys don't want them? i have and it's horrible and unfair.
this post and attitude pisses me the hell off
It's the weekend so I'm not gonna read anything lengthy sorry.

Omg this is stupid. We all want to breed. Even animals aren't sexist but the males find certain traits in females attractive. Just as men find fat, hair on legs and in their pits unattractive. Well most of the times.
