It isn't and it won't be. The only thing it has over SB is its Hot 100 peak and until it surpasses all the stats that SB racked up, it's a big NO!

SuperBass spent forever on the chart outside it's peak though to get to 4 million.
Fancy is still peaking and then has the next few months to cross.

Nicki didn't sell the majority of her sales for SuperBass when she was at #1 either

Nicki's sales were mostly due to longevity. Fancy is about to cross 3 million and it hasn't even left it's peak yet.

super bass. fancy is only big for the cute chorus. all the girls (and guys) at my school/in my family/etc would come up to me in 2011 bragging about how they could rap the first verse of super bass perfectly. nobody cares about the rap verses in fancy. it's literally a thrift shop/cant hold us 2.0. who cared about the verses apart from the 1st line?

Funny how you have to compare Iggy to Macklemore's songs, instead of to Monster (ft. Rihanna) or Starships or to basically 50% of rap/hip-hop hits, that all rely on a catchy chorus

Your fellow urban community members do since they stay talking about it. Obviously super bass is bigger since that's Nickis biggest hit WW and in the US, not sure what other singles besides starships were hits outside the US. But some of the excuses in here even creating imaginary sales for the banks chick when obsession goes too far

The logic is so flawed
Bad Romance peaked at #2 yet it was bigger than some #1.
Till The World Ends wasn't #1 and will remain bigger than Hold It Against Me, a #1 song
And no artists don't work for a #1 peak on some chart. they onbviously work for the money and lables are here for the money too not the peak like..
