Like, you can't ger MORE GENERIC with this song, the typical breakdown, and it's not even good, it's just so basic, the autotune, gosh this era is one of the worst eras in pop.
I can get the hate for the song, but really no other song has a chance to be a hit (besides Tick Tick Boom). It's generic and the will.i.am feature will help. If Work Bitch & Perfume flopped, theres no way Alien or Passenger will be hits unless she gets her radio support back.

Why do you think it was chosen? This is obviously their last attempt at a hit.
Either way it's going to get stuck in people's heads and is going to be played in clubs.
Definitely not generic, I mean I can comprehend the fact that people may not like the overly autotuned verses (Although, 3 as a whole was so much more autotuned, let's not kid ourselves) but you know, the autotune sort of give the song a futuristic texture. I think It'll do alright, It's one of the most infectious tracks on the record.
Um, I have been rooting for this masterpiece since the very start, so if it smashes, the receipts cannot be avoided and I will make sure of thaT.
Chart slayage brings me zen
Yes, brings me zen
Makes me feel like a million, billion
If it flops, it's a sin
I'll break my heart
It'll rip me apart
Yes, it'll rip me apar
BABY, SLAYAGE
IT SHOULD BE EASY
IT SHOULDN'T BE COMPLICATED
OMG @ this post.
I completely agree though.
I hope it rapes the charts HARD, the song is amazing and the Army really needs something out of this era to brag about.
True, she's slaying there, at least it's something.
I really wish she gets a hit though, after this one she needs to release Tik Tik Boom.
It's important that Vega's a success for her since that's what she and her team have been longing for obviously. I don't think they really care about the album flopping. I mean, there's so much more at stake for her career-wise If the Vegas shows were to flop. But a non-successful album isn't something they can't deal with.
Not the first responses being fans bash the single choice.
I honestly love this as a single! This era needs a big radio hit, and this is the most plausible choice. The autotune isn't even autotune. It's a vocoder on her vocals, and it's not even as bad as some people make it out to be.
Honestly, a radio hit? This? Are you stuck in some kind of Black Eyed Peas era or something? This is soooooo not a good move.. Put another flop single for an already miserably performing era..
