I'm pressed because I'm waiting on a new laptop before I can play. I made sure to redeem my code a few days ago though. Now I just need to wait All that CC I'll have to re-download.

Right so I have every EP/SP (except 2) manually installed so my plan was to install this, uninstall all the individually installed EPs (so there's less folders and ****) and use this, so if I copy a backup of my current Sims 2 folder will everything I currently have essentially "transfer" over to the ultimate collection, like all my mods, CC, saved families, houses etc

I'm scared I'll end up losing something down the line by uninstalling my current ones.

Just copy and move all of your files. You WILL lose them if you don't move them ahead of uninstalling ANYTHING. They will be safe if you move them out of The Sims 2 folders.

Okay thanks, I thought that was the case but needed some kind of confirmation!

The download will take like a day to complete so I have plenty of time to copy stuff over anyway.
