Too Hood is the second single included in "oringinal" After the Storm, All Eyez On Me. Monica tried to keep the momentum going for the album with this song, but after so much leakage and not much going on in Japan, the album got scrapped, and Too Hood didn't go anywhere. But the song is nice with a good vibe, but it's not amazing.
Fun Fact: Too Hood is included in the game NBA Live 2003.
"Don't Take It Personal (Remix)" and "Outro" are good remixes of good songs, and rather decent in their own right. Just wanted to come to their defense.
So I'm sure you heard the story that Kool_Aid_King told you guys in the Brandy rate. We were so hyped to hear another Brandy/Monica duet, until the song actually came out. COME ON! Did they actually think this song was gonna do anything? Like I was totally pissed when this came out. But eventually, I got around to it, and for what it is, it's actually a great song once the charting failure got out of the way.
KAK actually gave this a 10 being he knew it would get dragged. But I still want Brandy and Monica to do a collab album together. Like Monica said, "The only time either of us won a Grammy was together!"
Served as a promotional single for radio, Gone Be Fine is off the list. I'm not sure what much to say about this song. Nice beat, nice rapping, that's about it. I'm gonna let the thread talk this one through.
