Left me speechless. I still cannot really describe this movie. It captures the soul of a society-free family. Completely isolating three kids from the out world results in unfortunate consequences. See how would it be to live without knowing the outside watching this movie, and maybe your opinion on society will change, I'm sure mine did change.

RED
7,2/10
From the director of The Time Traveler's Wife, Lie to Me (TV series– Pilot 2009) and Flightplan, Robert Schwentke brings us RED which stans for Retired Extremely Dangerous, with the cast of Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Marvin Boggs, Helen Mirren and Karl Urban.
Seeing Bruce Willis in this movie remembers me of Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction.

7,8/10 Alice in Wonderland
Tim Burton is my favourite director but this movie disapointed me a little bit. The first half was awesome, but the ending looked a little comercial, maybe too Disney-ish. The soundtrack for that part didn't help either, and I love Danny Elfman.
The cast is breathtaking: Johnny Depp (Mad Hatter), Helena Bonham Carter (Red Queen), Mia Wasikowska (Alice), Anne Hathaway (White Queen); and the performances of Johnny and Helena were brilliant! The special effects for this movie were really really good, I like them better than Avatar. I am glad Tim had success with this, but I hope he doesn't do something like this again. The Addams Family is coming in 2014 and I CANNOT WAIT

8/10 Burlesque
Went to watch it yesterday, and yes I cried. I wasn't expecting to see something this good The cast is MAGNIFICIENT: Kristen Bell (Nikki), Cher (Tess), Christina Aguilera (Ali), Eric Dane (Marcus), Cam Gigandet (Jack), Peter Gallagher (Vince), Stanley Tucci (Sean). Christina Aguilera blew my mind! I had no idea she was a good actress. She managed to not look like a diva for half a movie, which I never thought she could do. The introduction was very well done, I hadn't seen one like that in a while. The soundtrack, needless is to say that is perfect. The performances are flawless, especially the one of A Guy What Takes His Time (I couldnt find it in youtube so I'll leave you with this very good one too):

Toy Story 3
8,2 /10
I never really liked Toy Story, it was indifferent to me. Toy Story 3 is so much better. Best part was the ending, I cried my heart out. The soundtrack is beautifully accomplished as well.

The Social Network
8,5/10
A movie about how Facebook was created. I don't really like Facebook, so to all of you Facebook haters I recommend this movie. The main story isn't around Facebook, it could be the story of creating another super famous website, it doesn't matter.
After watching this I fell in love with Jesse Eisenberg. He sucked all of the energy in it. In a room full of lawyers, he wouldn't speak, and even so, his indifference, his arrogance, his wisdom, made him so interesting. Justin Timberlake had a very interesting role. I loved his acting, first time I had seen him on the big screen.

Black Swan
9,2/10
It blew my mind away. Natalie Portman HAS to win an Oscar after this. Sex plays such an important factor, and we can see this in a very true-to-life way.
If you haven't watched the movie don't continue reading this
Brilliant script. It pushes its limits. In the part where she pushes her nail skin I had to close my eyes, or where the old man in the subway goes pervert EEEW. The ending really impressed me. I though she was going nuts, had a double personlity maybe. How tragic, how perfect

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1
9,4 /10
Yes, maybe the best Harry Potter movie. It begins the best way possible: " These are dark times. There is no denying" (I stan for this sentence every time Harry Potter comes to mind. A similar one was used in a previous movie: "Horace Slughorn: These are mad times we live in. MAD! Albus: They are indeed." )
Righ from the first dialogue at the beginning until the very last minute, this movie got me completely immersed. With the admirable cast of Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), Alan Rickman (Professor Severus Snape), Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort), Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Timothy Spall (Wormtail), Toby Jones (Dobby), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Rhys Ifans (Xenophilius Lovegood), Bill Nighy (Rufus Scrimgeour).
Super intense, I cannot with for Part 2 The ending is coming

Inception
9,5 /10
Christopher Nolan seems to only make amazing movies. In his career he has overall 9 movies, in which are: Inception, The Dark Knight, The Prestige, Batman Begins, Cinema16: British Short Films (video short), Insomnia, Memento, Following and Doodlebug. Everything he does is distinguished.
Inception is a very interesting story about living in dreams.
If you haven't watched the movie don't continue reading this
The process of waking up from the dream is very well accomplished. And the ending left me astonished and led me to think that after all there is no problem, because if he still has to wake up from the dream, then he only has to wait untill the effect is over to wake up to his life. The problem is if he gets killed meanwhile, and of course his wife may have some brain damage for committing suicide in her dream (unless she woke up from the fall).
The only thing I didn't like was the performance of Ellen Page (Ariadne), maybe because her looks didn't help either, she comes out annoying for me.

Shutter Island
9,7/10
First movie I really really enjoy from Martin Scorcese. Leonardo Di Caprio was superb in this.
If you haven't watched the movie don't continue reading this
It had one of the best overturns I have ever seen. the whole time I was changing my mind trying to figure out what was really going on, and in the end at the very last dialogue, in a single phrase, he makes the last overturn. "Would you rather live as a monster, or die as a good man?" It still gives me the chills today. I watched twice and both times I was amazed with how well this was done. Pay attention to every singe detail, it is beautiful.

Shakira – Gypsy

Best She Wolf album song. I love the intro with the harmonica, and it's even more perfect because it is Shakira playing it. There is NO ONE that can make a song about gypsys and make them look good, only Shakira. Idk about USA but gypsys are highly discriminated in Europe (and for good reasons). I have grown up listenig to awful stories about what they do in schools near by (thank god I was always in a private one), so for her to make me love a song about gypsys was a BIG achievement. She portrays the ideal of being a gypsy, the beauty of living like a gypsy that unfortunately very few have it in real life.
The version live she did for her Tour was PERFECT I want her to add the to the official version. " Que no me voy de Barranquilla a Panamá, soy una gitana, una gitana de ciudad"
6:15/7:30
"¿Dime quién camina
Cuando se puede volar?"
"Lo que tengo, lo doy
Digo lo que pienso
Tómame como soy"
"No intentes amarrarme
Ni dominarme
Yo soy quien elige
Como equivocarme"
"Sigo siendo aprendiz
En cada beso
Y con cada cicatriz
Algo pude entender
De tanto que tropiezo
Ya sé como caer"
AND
"Broke my heart on the road
Spent the weekend sewing the pieces back on"
"Walking gets too boring when you learn how to fly"
"Not the homecoming kind
Take the top off and who knows what you might find"
"To whom it may concern
Only run with scissors when you want to get hurt"
"I might steal your clothes
And wear them if they fit me"
"If you say 'NO'
Ain't it just the way life goes?
People fear what they don't know
Come along for the ride, Oh yeah
Come along for the ride, whoo-hoo"

Sugarland – Stuck Like Glue

Fell in love with it partly because of the BEST VIDEO OF 2010, but honestly the song is pretty amazing. I was sad to discover this was the only good one of their album Hopefully they will do something like this again in the future.
"Absolutely no one who knows me better
No one that can make me feel so good
How did we stay so long together
When everybody
Everybody said we never would
And just when I
I start to think they’re right
That love has died
There you go making my heart beat again
Heart beat again, heart beat again
There you go making me feel like a kid
Won’t you do it and do it one time
There you go pulling me right back in
Right back in, right back in
And I know I’m never letting this go
I’m stuck on you
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Stuck like glue
You and me baby
We’re stuck like glue
Whoa-oh, whoa-oh
Stuck like glue
You and me baby
We’re stuck like glue
Some days I don’t feel like trying
Some days you know I wanna just give up
When it doesn’t matter who’s right
Fight about it all night
Had enough
You give me that look
I’m sorry baby let’s make up
You do that thing that makes me laugh
And just like that"

BREATHTAKING
MY FAVOURITE SONG OF MCR
THIS MESSES WITH MY BODY
It was supposed to be number one, until the very last minute, when I remember how the first place moved my soul.
"109 in the sky but the pigs won't quit"
"Louder than god’s revolver and twice as shiny
This ones for all you rock and rollers
All you crash queens and motivators"
"LISTEN UP!
THE FUTURE IS BULLETPROOF!
THE AFTERMATH IS SECONDARY!
It’s time to do it now and do it loud
KILLJOYS, MAKE SOME NOISE!”
"I don't need it, but I'll take what I want
From your heart and I'll keep it
In a bag, in a box
Put an X on the floor
Gimme more!
Gimme more!
Gimme more!
Shut up and sing it with me"
"We're on their property (NA-NA-NANANA)
Standing in a V formation"
"Right here, right now
All the way in a Battery City
The little children raised their open filthy palms
Like tiny daggers up to heaven
And all the Juvee Halls, and the ritalin rats
Ask angels made from neon and ****ing garbage
Scream out! What will save us?
And the sky opened up
Everybody wants to change the world
Everybody wants to change the world
But no one, no one wants to die
Wanna try, wanna try, wanna try,
Wanna try, wanna try now!"
"Pull this pin, let this world explode"

The XX- VCR

Best The XX song. Deeply marked the best time of my life. The whole album is a masterpiece, it's a pity this is the only one 2010 released.
"You, you still have all the answers
and you, you still have them too
and we, we live half in the day time
and we, we live half at night
Watch things on VCRs, with me and talk about big love
I think we're superstars, you say you think we are the best thing
But you, you just know, you just do
When I find myself by the sea, in another's company by the sea
When I go out the pier, gonna die and have no fear
Because you, you just know, you just do"
Well, my Best of 2010 has come to an end. I hope all of you enjoyed it, and thank you for all of your coments. 2010 was a big year, and I am glad I got to spend it in ATRL getting to know all of you. It's an honor to be part of this family.
