idk i don't want to sound TOO elitist, i get that the streaming component is there and i'll just have to live with it even though i don't like it, but it seems pretty unfair that the #2 album sold more than double the #1 album and doesn't get #1. i know kanye's album was popular in its own way, but...it still seems wrong to me :S (deja vu to 2013)

10 Pop stations added Ride yesterday alone. It's coming fast on that format ![clap3](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/67d90ee8.gif) Adds date is tomorrow and it just entered top 50 with One Dance
Ride and One Dance are gonna be radio summer smashes.

All of Me - 8 consecutive #2 sales weeks
Give Me Everything - 4 weeks at #2 in sales
One More Night - 3 weeks at #2 in sales
Black and Yellow - 3 weeks at #2 in sales
Harlem Shake - #3, went #2 the next week, #3 the week after that
So in fact Harlem Shake 2.0 would be a nice moniker, except perhaps even more so than the original if it doesn't notably rise in sales if/when it gets #1 overall.

and give me everything, one more night, and all of me have all sold more than 4m, so i think they did fine in sales at the end. (idk how black and yellow sold, i haven't seen an update on that in a long time, but i think it's somewhere over 3m) harlem shake is the only one there that really had dismal sales in the end.

The Panda video is coming soon too ![Duca](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/duca_zps480ab501.gif) I think the song will be able to garner 35M streams or more in a few weeks.

meanwhile i'm excited for no, it's rising on radio really fast and has rebounded in sales in the last few days (well, it went well ahead of 7 years for a while, then fell a lot, but it's still ahead so close enough). it might be a future #1 if panda doesn't get there too fast, since 7 years seems to be slowing down a bit and work is decreasing (ever so slowly....). i'm happy for her, she seems to be having some staying power

The #2 album already went #1 over six months ago so he's doing quite fine either way.
You guys aren't realizing BB200 is like H100 now. Three components, some songs do well in airplay more than the other two, some songs do well in sales more than the other two, and some do more well in streams than the other two components.
That's the album charts now. Some albums will excel in sales, some in streams, and some in track sales. Sales aren't gonna be the be all end all to determine which album was more popular.
Kanye's album was very popular posting record breaking streams so it's not like it's a situation that's gonna happen every week. His album was also all over media news sites and such, so it's not like it wasn't one of the most popular albums in reality.

Are the components on Billboard 200 weighed, though? Like 45% album sales + 55% streaming? Or it's just a bunch of converting streaming into album sales and adding them to actual sales?

i guess? i wouldn't mind if it was like, a 5,000 difference, but the disparity is really huge. i know it was popular in a non-sales way, and i guess it's not a HUGE deal and i'm not that angry about it, but i still don't like it. maybe i'm too much of an old-timer for this stuff :I

There's no weight they're trying to achieve, but using last weeks chart.
Top 200 combined:
Total Equivalent Albums — 1,832,075
Total Pure Albums — 1,075,518
Total SEA — 622,133
Total TEA — 451,234
Pure album sales make up 58.7% of the chart still. Which isn't too high or too low considering where album sales are at in 2016.
