There are so many #1 on HCS and in all the charts that didn't deserve that, but this is real life, not everything is fair, mean deserved #1 on HCS and looked what happened

they are counting everything. it's literally the Hot 100 with country artists filtered out to compile a list

The chart records of the last 50+ years held by some of the genre's best can't even be seen in the same light anymore. It's such a shame. Billboard has never made such a bad move.

What about poor Miranda now? At least Carrie has a bit of a larger appeal. When is Miranda ever going to go #1 again? Hell when is she going to reach Top five again? Miranda, who hasn't released a single pop song in her life will be punished because of this, because the general public isn't her for her, but her country base is but it doesn't seem to matter now.

People aren't buying it, but people are listening to it. She gets critical acclaim on everything and anything she releases.

Country radio loves it, and I feel that if country radio loves it then yes its a hit. If it crosses over that's great, but if a country song doesn't it still makes it a country hit if it goes far on the country charts.

Look at begin again, is more country than your fave last single

If carrie, taylor, jason, luke and a lot of people can sell singles with country songs and miranda can't, it's not their fault

But how is it fair to Miranda, that because she doesn't have pop friendly songs that she should be payed dust? Her strong point is country airplay, and now they're telling her that she should release more to pop and HAC to be more successful on country? That's not right.

It's not a country hit. It's a county radio hit. Doesn't really reflect what the people want since you even said that they are just hearing it but not wanting enough to buy it.

Some artists can't sell songs? Miranda is an artist who has country songs that are real country, so obviously the average teenager won't be interested in it.

Maybe if she releases a pop song people will be more interested in her.

If Rihanna or any other popstar would release her song to country and classify it as country it will obviously go #1. Huge pop airplay and digital sales, you know.

And country artists in general are not known for their digital sales.

Anyway, this is nothing against Taylor. I love her & her music. It's about the chart in general. And I wouldn't even have a big problem with it if it was only country airplay. But including pop airplay for a country chart is just wrong, imo.
