The group's first statement honestly wasn't messy. The only slightly messy part was the "via her representatives" line, but people would have forgotten about that extremely quickly. Most of their statement was them just talking about how they want to keep going on as a fourpiece. Things only started getting ugly when Camila released her own statement trying to act like the other four were a bunch of liars and trying to make her look bad just because they used three words she didn't like. She was the one who left, and especially after finding out everything that went down before she officially left, she doesn't get the right to dictate this narrative as some sort of victim when the girls' first statement wasn't even attacking her to begin with.

The group didn't want her to leave. Can't you read? They wanted her to have the group as main priority.... even if she wanted to do solo music on the side. But she wanted them to put their career on hold for her. That is SELFISH. This is what confuses me the most... The 4H stans that hate camila(most of the 5H stanbase besides her stans) have been hating on her for over a year. Every performance, every song, every video, every interview they were always like: this bitch, shes so annoying, I hate her, shes always doing the most, she sounds like a dying cat, her screeching in every song is horrible, the songs would be better without her, ah look she wants to be noticed, she doesn't tweet about 5h, she's cocky, I want her gone, etcetc.... all you gotta go is go to any thread and check the first pages... well they got what they wanted and so did Camila. Wish nothing but the best for both I just want this messiness to end.

everyone is saying OT4 stans hated her and wanted her out............ but it was bc they could SENSE everything going on. Everything we assumed turned out to be right. It's bc of her why the fanbase was even divided

Please explain to me how giving your group an ultimatum of either taking a hiatus they don't want to take or leaving that group right as their career is taking off isn't selfish.

Whether or not she broke any rules is completely irrelevant. Nobody's saying she did anything that violated her contract - obviously she didn't. But if we're talking about this from a purely moral perspective, you can't possibly argue that this wasn't selfish on her part

Barely going Top 10 in one country due to a discount, and not even peaking in the Top 25 in any other country isn't exactly what I'd call "smashing"
