They usually sing IIWAB, Halo or Listen. Standard power ballads. The obvious bad ones suck but the ones who do come prepared (most are) either match or surpass Beyonce's rendition. But that is just a preference.

Songs being sung on talent shows are not indicators of memorability. They choose Beyonce's songs because they are vocally challenging. We all know she is a more powerful singer but Baby One More Time and Oops I Did It Again remains more memorable than anything Beyonce has ever released. We can also put Gimme More up there but it's arguable.

Britney had ...Baby One More Time, she is part of the American culture. Beyoncé will be on her way in a few years, I am pretty sure she will also be remembered in 50 years.
