He's not though. What has he done that's legendary? He's iconic, but he's nowhere near legendary.
Michael Jackson and The Beatles basically shaped western music and culture. I guess the same could be said about Elvis and Madonna. Michael even influenced people beyond the western world.
What did Elton do exactly that was legendary?

How about the biggest single of all-time WW? That's generally considered a big deal. And he had a HUGE impact on the sound of music and LGBT visibility and HIV/AIDS awareness.

Only George is straight up country. She might have took things too far with Red but then again country is farther away from its core sound then ever. When you have artists like FGL who seem like they want to mix hip-hop and country together it really is hard to tell what is ok and what isn't.

George isn't even straight up country. Country music is just pop music ten years late. It's always been that way, back to the days of Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, etc.

The Britney stans started the nickname "Legend X" as
Bionic shade.

Out of these girls, I think it will be Taylor.
While she is very successful, success alone doesn't make a legend. I think she's shown the least versatility out of these girls, and where others have not shown versatility, they have still made more of an impact in culture so that their legacies will be maintained. Taylor still is young, but if she continues going at it the way she is, I don't see legend status for her. She neither excels in her craft more than anyone else, nor does anything of particular note when it comes to innovation within her field. Simply put she is a cute girl with cute lyrics and cute melodies about cute subjects with country tinge. That is not legendary to me.
As for the rest, Beyonce is without a doubt going to be a legend, if you don't already think she is now. She's had huge impact and undeniable talent and the fact that she's had two separate successful music careers means she will have a big legacy (much like Diana Ross). I think Britney will be more of an icon because she's not really known for exceptional skill but is without a doubt a major face of the 2000s and is super iconic to a tee. If Gaga continues to stand out in a good way she'll be a legend. Rihanna could be a legend but she needs to step it up. She's heading towards more of an icon status at this point. Katy Perry too is more icon than legend to me. She's going to have to try something new besides acting like a teenager to get there though.

Gurl, have you listened to her lyrics? The only person who rivals her songwriting is Mariah. I can't think of another person who's put out a sonnet for a lead single this decade.
Beyonce has had very minimal impact, too. The biggest person who launched their career to be like Beyonce is probably Ailee (the South Korean singer that made "Halo" happen again in 2013). She's never really done anything unique or special, though I do agree that she'll be a legend thanks to her voice.
Britney will be a legend, not just an icon, thanks to her impact (the Lolita trope has affected everyone from Christina Aguilera to Jessica Simpson to Mandy Moore to Miley Cyrus to Alizee to SNSD to T-ARA to HyunA, etc.) and iconic performances.

-Taylor and Bey are the pioneers of their respective genre so it's inevitable at this point.
-Lady Gaga (the name) is already legendary. Don't know about herself tho...

Are you ****ing kidding me?

If I didn't just change my sig I would put this **** in there. Beyonce has done nothing new in her genre and neither has Taylor. They're both great, but neither of them are even slightly innovative. Britney, on the other hand, revived teen-pop, popularized the Lolita concept for pop singers, "Toxic," the popularization of dub-step, etc. Taylor Swift has even used dubstep since then and Beyonce has been influenced by Britney multiple, multiple times
