I'm annoyed less with Interscope than I am with her. While I love some of her records, a lot of her work is consistently unpolished and relies almost entirely on interesting production ideas than it does on strong musical ideas or her capacity as a rapper or lyricist. And she's so stubborn and always more willing to blame others for the **** she gets in, I'm feeling like Interscope wanted her to step up on this record but she just gave them more weak & nonsense rhymes over chopped and screwed, concrete music-beats with watered-down political undertones and they just weren't having it.
Omg, why is Interscope doing this ****? I mean let the true artist do her own thing...It's not like M.I.A. is aiming for a commercial success. She is above the ****.
