I've been in the pit twice for the Red Tour. Once in Cleveland in an arena, and then in Pittsburgh in a stadium. The line's location is venue specific. The first time, I got to the arena around 5:30 and ended up in the middle of the catwalk, with one person between me and the stage. The second time, I got there at 3:30, but got in the wrong line and ended up with two people between me and the stage. I managed to get to the railing next to the catwalk right as Taylor was coming out, only to be hip checked away by teenage girls.
