Kala = MAYA > Matangi > Arular.
I wasn't around in 2010, were people genuinely jumping ship because of a few truffles
My first experience with MIA was mean, I wished her well only knowing Paper Planes and y'all dragged me to the pits
luckily I invested time into her and now I know her ****
but thanks for almost making me avoid her

Treating 3 extremely influential records as "other stuff" is ridiculous, my dear.
I suggest you to not even buy or download Matangi so.

Ok, maybe that deserved, Paper Planes isn't even in her Top 10 best songs for me now
still though, imagine if if let it get to me, my music taste would be so different
I wouldn't know ha, I wouldn't know Sleigh Bells (produced Meds and Feds), I wouldn't know Björk (long story), I'd still be blindly worshipping Gaga
sad times
It Iz What It Iz is perfect, easily the most underrated song in her discography.
Kala is better in terms of tracks, but MAYA is more cohesive and she didn't compromise her aesthetic one bit, I love it
What's good about being a newish stan is that I'm still getting into some of her songs. For example, this week I finally got into Mango Pickle Down River and XR2
Nawt ha outselling Britney
I never knew YALA had a video
