The point of releasing singles is so people will buy the album or song, but we know they didn't buy the song cause they went nowhere on the charts practically. So if you releasing singles and your album is not selling......how is that good?

your not understanding what im saying either lol im saying that even tho single choices were horrible choices she still did well. the hype was obviously still there for her to sell 1 mill in a month she just didnt follow up with the singles.

No, i get that. I'm just saying it didn't keep selling. Selling 1 million in a month, with most coming from Xmas is good, but if it couldn't hold up through the year, then that's not good. I'm looking @ it more generally, you're looking @ it from a stan's POV.

There are plenty of international singers who come to the US and have hits, but before they even came to the US they were hit makes from england, carribean, or any place else for that matter. We've answered that. Rihanna's too busy touring, getting hit singles, selling albums (no matter how slow, still lasting over 18 months on the chart.) This award is not important, that's why Ciara got it. You know that she didn't do anything this year.

But you're right. She got it. I'm pretty sure the artists who really did something this year cares more about winning relevant awards (such as Grammys, AMAs, Billboard Music Awards, etc.) I guess Rihanna will do it when her career starts to end too.
