I updated the opening post with the estimated total record sales. Adele has sold over 81 million records during her career.
Rolling in the Deep is now the third best selling single ever in the US with sales of 8 million. Elton John's Candle in the Wind has sold 8.839 million copies and Black Eyed Peas' I Gotta Feeling has sold 8.402 million copies to date.

Unfortunately, i don't think Skyfall is double platinum in US. We don't have a certification from RIAA, because i edit this **** on Wikipedia but some mother****ers say it's still platinum.

You mean RIAA, right? Yeah, well - like it or not - RIAA Singles Certifications are not given based on just sales anymore. It also includes streaming (a la Spofity and YouTube). For sure Skyfall SHOULD be certified double platinum in the US but it's not!
