Can you share it? I think most of us here on ATRL are fans of music and talking about the impact both girls have made on rap music.

We can go in circles all day. I don't care. I need something to entertain me until my fave makes the announcement.
Looking at this thread apparently first it was who will be more remembered period, then in rap history alone, then impact, then relevance, chart history is being discussed now... In the end everything is connected and you can't just change the variables to evaluate a situation like this but you know your theory is inconsistent when you have to keep changing its main thesis.

Thank you
I wish the OP would've stayed consistent from the get go.
Nicki will be probably be more remembered, which is sad because Missy actually contributed more to pop culture and was more innovative in her prime. The internet is over hyping all the newer girl's impacts
Nicki basically used her and Lil Kim's formula and applied it to the new generation. In the Instagram era people will remember someone more for their colored wigs and butt injections than their actual careers Not saying she doesn't have hits to back it up but a lot of its media hype.

As the OP I can say the intention of this thread was to discuss contributions to rap history. The title was changed to be more specific with less than 10 votes registered to focus the conversation. However, your point is well taken that there are a number of variables that could affect one's memorability in rap history. As a suggestion, if you feel critical of the way ATRLers have been discussing this, maybe you could offer your own opinion on the matter.

Stay pressed.
Trust me, I have NOTHING to be pressed about. I'm more than good.
There were less than 10 votes in when the thread changed.
Alright, now stay on topic, y'all. Let the others chime in who haven't had their voices heard.
Except you're lying because I was here when you opened the thread and Nicki was blowing out Missy with around 12 votes to 5.
It's cute that you're backtracking though. Even with the OP change, Missy barely has around a 10% lead over Nicki. Missy's whole career being compared to Nicki's when she just started is amazing. It shows Nicki already has so much impact in so little time.

I did, "if their careers ended today I'd say Missy, but Nicki is just about to launch a new era that's super anticipated so there's no telling just yet who will be more remembered in rap history tbh."
You're basically just asking for people's random predictions with this thread considering where they both are at this point of their careers, the coin with the real answer is still being tossed in the air.
Maybe in 5 years that coin will be closer to the ground and we will have more facts that will contribute for a better discussion and even then there will probably be very subjective arguments being thrown around because their careers had a VERY different time span & history that basically affects everything.

Queen of Rap tbh.
Well the non-Nicki stans of ATRL with less of a pop background and more of a hip hop background respectfully disagree.
Again, stay on topic and be respectful of others who want their voices heard on the matter. Your mess has been properly registered.
BOTH! why do we have to pit them against each other??? Nicki is Queen. Missy is Queen Kim is Queen, Hill is Queen. There are many many many women to remember.

Good point. Let's celebrate all of the women who show the men what's up in such a male dominated industry.
