I just got out of a relationship like 4 months ago. right now I am dating someone new but with his infrequent texting, I am not sure if he is interested which kinda makes me want to stop dating him. Am I just being paranoid? I mean we do have a date again today, but wouldn't we be texting like everyday coming up to today?

Nothing to worry about. Some people are indifferent in the early stages of dating but that doesn't mean they're not interested. I would worry if he was indefferent after you've been dating for more than 6 months.
