Every artist promos their album on twitter. That is the entire point of twitter for an artist

No, it's not the entire point. Some artists actually care about getting to interact with their fans instead of using it completely for promo. And most artists don't get upset enough to block some of their fans that bought their underperforming album. Also, of course "one" checked his twitter, probably the OP. But you said a bunch of us checked his twitter.
