Kelly should take a note from Ariana Grande. Yours Truly showed off that girl's voice in such a spectacular way (the album is rated higher on metacritic than any of Kelly's), it's different and cohesive. Obviously, Kelly's album should be more mature lyrically.
But I want some damn runs, head voice and vocal dynamics.
No more pop/rock raspy voice on every song, with a couple of belts.

No offense, but you're dumb if you think electronic music has died off. A vast majority of hits nowadays are "electronic". We have no clue what this song will sound like so stop assuming the worst. It's better than another pop/rock song, a la PLU.
I'm so happy that Kelly is going to be taking risks this era!
As long as it's a good, fun and unique beat, it'll be fine. A new trend really hasn't settled in yet despite some good amount of alternative entry into pop.
I think it seems as if pop-EDM died out because the same type of artists were working with the same producers and putting out songs with the same drop. It was getting shamelessly repetitive and people got tired.
