wow this explain why M fans are SO ENVIOUS of Queen Gaga. Only basics never get 1million first week.
Someone in their 30 year career should be well known and should be making large sums of sales. It makes sense for Madonna to make 1million first week; that being she's been a long time forever and people should be buying her terrible music.
but if she never had decent first week sales in the first place, its simply because people were never here for her.
I really hope "Dare" saves the album and becomes a huge WW hit because if it doesn't I can't see them giving Shakira a budget like this and so many promotional partners again in the future.
