Americano wouldnt work as a single, i think it'd come under fire for that 'I dont speak your Jesus Christo' line.
Speaking of that, I have to say...even though South africa is irrelevant in the global sense, she is fast declining in popularity here becuase of some e-mail and a bbm broadcast that went viral saying Lady Gaga is satanist and whatever. I would think 80% of the population here hate her. Judas was even boycotted on radio, even when I went to buy Born This Way, the guy who works at the store said they spent a lot of money on promo (They did promote the album a lot) but people were not buying because they claim she sold her soul to the devil.
Now I dont think it will hurt her career that much, we are way irrelevant compared to larger music markets, but its starting to annoy me, because I get questioned so much, and even when i explain to people they just dismiss me and insist she is the devil, and they end up thinking that i sold my soul as well. Sometimes I laugh at the ridiculousness but really, WTF?!
I can imagine this situation; I am driving around town with my parents then they turn on the radio on and then "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-KAAAAA-AAAAAHHH!!"
