The way her real voice comes out at 5:00. The fake accent was the pits tbh, but she was so cute and mysterious back then. Now she sounds like a 60 year old chain smoker in interviewers

I noticed that too, since she genuinely giggled her real voice came out
Honestly I was put off by her fake persona back then and didn't quite "get" her. I became a fan after the 2009 VMAs weirdly enough but I feel like her interviews started getting a bit more normal around that time.

Yupp she dropped the accent after TF era basically. Which just adds to the claim that the entire TF era was the true Lady Gaga persona. For TFM era, the music got weirder but she got more normal, I guess

Exactly. In the early Fame era interviews (2008 ones), she was a lot like she is now.....very laid back, cool and chill. She had that new artist ambition to her too. When she started blowing up, she started doing that whole persona in every interview, even acting diva-ish and talking back to interviewers at times But yeah, when TFM era started, she pretty much dropped that act. I can't find it on YouTube, but her Letterman interview in 2009 was one of the first of TFM era and it was so much more chill.
And this one:
She still had that weirdness and tapped into that artsy side of her personality a lot but wasn't putting on a full act anymore.
