No singles and no tour. It also sold over 2 million in 2011, so the album probably reached most of those who had any interest in it's music.

The point is... The era was a bust, and the album died in 7 months after its release date.
Due to many factors, really. Wrong single choices, non-strategic promotion, and general overexposure are just a few that come to mind.
