I mean Tiffany promoted everywhere, music shows, SNL, variety/interviews and she had the SNSD tag. There was literally every reason for her to sell well and more than Jessica.
Jessica's radio appearances were all suddenly cancelled at the last minute and she didn't promote on any music shows. MNET even tried to sabotage her and removed her from the voting lists. 
All she had was Beauty Bible where she didn't even really promote her music and V-App/university performances. She had no other promo.
So yes, her solo was a hit purely for that fact. |

Just because she did slightly better than Fany doesn't mean that she didn't flop.
Both of them flopped but at least Fany delivered quality. Sica's album on the other hand is pure trash.
