Not even Madonna (which is a touring legend) took the risk to perform in one of the poorest countries in South America with such high prices.
And even if she performed for over 17k people...since when is 17k a bad number? It only looks bad because of the maximum capacity of the stadium, but 17k people is even more than a usual arena capacity.
Seriously now, their faves are performing for 12-15k people in Brazil (while Gaga is performing for over 100k) and they keep saying she's flopping in SA when the only concert that underperformed was Peru where even Shakira (the biggest popstar out there) didn't perform for more than 13-14k people.
They should stop focusing their attention on Lady Gaga's tour receipts and look at their faves first, which can't even sell out 13k venues there.

Yeah you're completely right.
Another thing that bothers me a lot is precisely that expectation and impact in the media when supposedly Gaga is not selling well. I mean, I had never seen such amount of articles everywhere about an artist flopping with his concerts. Even on TV talking about that, as someone said
They only do this when it's Gaga, so sad to be honest.
