i must say though it's nice to see her album rising on the charts world wide in terms of record sales and i notice starships is climbing everywhere as well..
i'm here for more masquerades and super bass and whip it's to come in the future from popnika
But, when did she say that? Because she always said she loved dance pop and that her music was a mixture of it. Her music has been leaning toward pop in general since BMUS. So, I'm not getting where she was disgusted. ...Please enlighten me.
Were you not a fan of her in her mix tape days ...? I'm assuming you started staining from PF/PF:RR cause only during recent interviews did she start to contradict her previous views on pop, like go look at the song RR "Nicki pop? the only thing that pop is my endorsement" She's changing her views either because she's always felt that way but was too ashamed to tell her fans, or because of all the backlash she's now claiming she's always loved it
I think this album is just a lesson in disguise. I'm hoping as a fan, long down the road, this album will just be one of her duds.
I call it a dud loosely because the first half is some of her best work but overall this era has not been good for my perception of her.
THANK YOU! If she wants to blend hip hop and house, then just look at Azealia... She blends it perfectly but she maintains her urban crowd and doesn't have to run to RedOne to explore house/eurodance, cause ya know its not like else wanting to dip there toes into electronic goes to him...right?

No. Back in her Sucka Free Days she said her music was all of it in one. She said that in the song because she considers herself "hip hop" in her view: She's still rapping in the dance tracks and still making her hip hop songs at the same time.
When you can show me the receipts of her saying she would never go pop, her shading the pop girls then I'll believe you.

Did I not just quote her from a song laughing about being considered pop ?
Did I not just quote her from a song laughing about being considered pop :roll eyes:?
And did you not just say she said she would never go "pop" and shading other girls prior to that song though.? ...And as I said before she considers herself "hip-hop", not just pop/both.
But what does that say about you? It's one thing if you didn't have the sig and avi and were a fanweather fan...this is why artist have a hard time because they have to deal with ppl that play those games. As a fan, you have to stand stronger than that, luv.
But I already am, sis I was replying to the context that if Nicki would actually be a full-on blown popstar. The pop don't bother me as much unless I know she'll stop making lots and lots of hip-hop. The only person I actually see playing games right now is Nicki
the only thing that pissed me off this era is we didn't get any Monster type songs. I like all genres of music so the pop side didn't faze me.
I disagree. If we're going by the definition of fickle (inconstant - changeable - unsteady) they are the opposite of that. Hip Hop fans KNOW what they want and expect out of an artist. They know they won't like Pop Nicki, they may be open to it, but ultimately won't like it because that's just not what they're used to listening to.
Hip-Hop fans are the least fickle out of any genre fan base other than Country i.m.o

It's like you ordered chicken but got salad on the platter. Of course, I'll probably still eat the salad, but I did order for the chicken

You'll need those receipts next time, hon.
sis the only receipt I need is PIO and SF and we both better get used to popnicka, cause if divisions right, then thats all we'll be getting from her for now on
